To promote New Orleans in a place like there's Shreveport but when -- and in other cities like Denver or where Portland or if you're in the East Coast somewhere Texas. What are your thoughts and now if you go out on the road promoting New Orleans we are we ours -- city. Obama is just you know let you know a lot of it's just. The kind of simple basic missing -- kind of thing you know so for me. Chrome has always meant to be cliche -- but home is where artists so that. And the oil spill and you deal within a year with you music and you bring those things up and you eat you promote New Orleans in such a way that. Yeah -- it seems like we are such a very very strong city and it seems like no matter what we have to come up against we can deal with it and I love the way you bring it out. It's about sometimes it's about politics but you're really bipartisan. Completely bipartisan I mean you know quite honestly believe you know in terms of politics -- lead to both sides are urged I'm hopeful that and I mean. If you if you lived in new war -- yourself -- here in general I mean you'd you'd learn you know the researchers that you know. The governments -- to take care I mean they're not going to you know you can you can kind of you can kind of -- Hang your hat on one side and essentially other means. -- I think we learn down here in at that is just kind of power grab and that it shouldn't that the a lot of the parents unfortunately about the money in the power. To the citizens. And He would do decrepit and the stick. We. But the thing about it is about here is that the people of interest. We frequently used to be part of something. The life force in question our own computer. There's it's said that there was. Because they're all that support Google threat. Equality gay rights and even same sex marriage so. And that you think this would be something that would be totally for -- I'm really not an hour mark Menard to to read. The response from a Sesame Street work workshop. The people who do Sesame Street they have responded to the idea. That there's a request there's a an online from promotion to get the -- -- petition that's a petition to get Bert and Ernie to get married and I love. The response from Sesame Street I think it's absolutely brilliant these people should be White House spokesperson now. This is a this is a bring your thoughts -- here's what here's what Sesame Street the producers had to say about the protest to get bird. First I guess I should say that the recent this group wants them to get married. Is to. Make it seem as if it will not make it seem that. To reflect the idea that it's okay to be gay. And this might help with gay suicides this might help with. I'm gay bullying and to make everybody feel like they're they're beautiful which was a part of the -- regular song beautiful. That was the reason for the requested in the protest that they get married. Now here is the response from Sesame Street. Well and here's the thing because by doing this sentence -- it puts Sesame Street in to a very awkward position where if you say no it's like -- line not the you know like gay people and it it opens up a whole can of worms I thought like you that they handled that very well it's brilliant they've they've posted this on the on the the Sesame Street official FaceBook page. It says. Quote Bert and Ernie are best friends they were created to teach preschoolers that people can be good friends with those who are very different from themselves. Even though they are identified as male characters and assessment human traits and characteristics. As most Sesame Street Muppets do. They remain puppets and do not have a sexual orientation. And I think that's I think it's brilliant because there. The pop -- And end. This is an example of a gay advocacy group going too far and I think not helping. Their own and their only intent. Because their puppets and if -- and puppets don't. Have sex they don't have sexuality. And the only thing that distinguishes homosexuals and heterosexuals. Is a very personal. Adult activity that takes place in the bedroom and puppets don't have that. That -- we get -- and I don't appreciate. Something like that being projected on to something that's supposed to be in -- that's what I don't like I agree. But we have more. Breaking Sesame Street news for -- we do. May not realize it but they they want the school to be teaching their kids about sex because they don't wanna have to have the conversation with their kids because it's uncomfortable. You know it shouldn't be uncomfortable you're a parent it's not something to be embarrassed about it's on its human nature it's. Our god given instinct needs to be respected. And handled in the right way with the right person acts. The right time. And it's something that parents should teach their kids and -- give you this little bit of advice and end I was far from a perfect dad. But I had the sex conversation with my son when He was. When He was young I wanna say about. About nine. And you know kids mature. A lot faster that are exposed to things a lot earlier so it in my opinion middle school is not too young to teach your kids about sex. But it might be uncomfortable is apparent but even if before nine -- May by -- was eight when this happened. The earlier you have the conversation with your kids to the earlier that you introduce them to basic conversation about sex. The less you have to tell them the less uncomfortable He has the less graphic it has to be. You can there's there's there's so many ways to just tell them just what they need to know and let them ask you questions. And if they don't ask a question -- that don't go there with it. And when you have a conversation with your kids when they're younger about sex and I -- a child psychologist but I can just tell you what what works for me and maybe this will help you and maybe -- work for you. If you have a conversation when they're younger. You can leave the uncomfortable. Erotic aspect of sex totally out of it you can just talk about it as a fact of life in it. At one time it was actually referred to as the facts of life. -- do you know what the facts of like with the birds and the bees which any relief under stood that but it. I never understood that -- -- partners didn't didn't use that analogy my parents really didn't talk to me about it. Federal -- -- -- -- in my prayers -- were perfect love them and they love me unconditionally and that's that's really thank -- forward to this stay still. Love them for that.
