ALSO.. the present healthcare reform bill is 2,074 pages long; included therein is an anti-trust exemption for currently existing insurance companies . wasn't part of the big pitch in favor of healthcare reform; new laws that would "REGUALTE" insurance companies ?

former senator bill jefferson, was convicted on 11 counts of corruption,then sentenced to 13 years. we then find out that he gets to retain his lifelong 50 thousand dollar pension and gets to stay out of jail throughout the duration of the appeal process. seeing justice slowly slipping away in the jefferson case; does it cause you to become hesitant to trust the same government to run the healthcare reform program?
